Acrylic from original water color. "The Palmer Divide" near Colorado Springs. This is a high energy place where storms cross over the mountains.
Three horses race across the priarie, as a storm rolls in over the mountains. Butte in background reminds me of a mystic portal.

An original Water Color of a cow pond filled by an irrigation ditch. Beautiful grass fields and cottonwood trees are in the background. Autumn colors are beginning. The sandstone butte in the far background casts it's magical presence on the scene. The site location is up the Sweetwater Road in Eagle County, Colorado.

This Water Color (Plein Air) is of a pair of sheets on the clothes line blowing in the summer wind. The clouds seem to bounce over the mountains. The grass needs mowing. Two red wing black birds hold on for a moment of communication. One slight flaw is upper left corner uncovered sky.

[RIGHT] Double matted with a light gray inner mat, a desert tan outer mat, and a buff light bronze metal frame. Includes preservation backing.
This beautiful sandstone dome, is found just north of the Colorado River; after crossing Dewy Bridge if entering the Canyon Lands from the northern route, down from I-70. Painting was done"Plien Air".

Framed with light refracting glass, and thin inner matt in a muted gold. The outer matt is beige, and frame is walnut.
Painting is double matted, with preservation backing; keeps moisture out.
